THE BRONX — Police responded to a call early Saturday of a man shot in the Westchester Square neighborhood.

Police said a call came in at 2:28 a.m. and discovered, upon arriving at 2345 Lyvere St., two men injured from gunshot wounds to the body.

Both men were transported to Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

One man, 21, suffered a wound in his chest, and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Police identified the man as Fabian Gonzalez, of Florida, on Saturday afternoon.

The other victim, 26, was struck in the calf by a bullet, and was listed in stable condition.

Police say they canvassed the area of the incident, and successfully arrested two individuals.

One of the individuals, Jordan Agosto, 18, of the Bronx, was charged with attempted second-degree murder, manslaughter with intent to cause physical injury, criminal possession of a weapon, and assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon.
