Police Looking for Bronx Burglary Suspect

THE BRONX — Police seek the public's assistance in tracking down a woman suspected of burglarizing a Claremont Village apartment on Sunday, May 6. 

The NYPD released a video Friday of a person they say surveyed a building at 1420 Minford Place for unlocked doors at 6:55 a.m.

According to police, the woman tried the locks of of several apartments, in an effort to find a way to enter the units. Eventually police said, the suspect found a door that had been left unlocked.

The suspect entered the apartment and removed a television from the home, police said.

The woman is described as a female in her 20s, standing 5-foot-2, with a thin build and black hair. Police said she was wearing a dark baseball cap, a blue sweatshirt, dark jeans, and dark boots.
