Suspects in Queens Home Invasion Robbery Caught on Video

QUEENS — Cops are hunting two men who forced their way into a Forest Hills apartment and tried to rob the resident at gunpoint, the NYPD reported.

The suspects, who were caught on surveillance video, knocked on the victim's door shortly before midnight on May 8, police said.

When he answered the door, the men shoved their way in and demanded money. One of the suspects was armed with a gun.

The resident, 26, began to scream and the suspects fled, an NYPD spokesman said. The resident was not harmed. There was no further description of the suspects.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
