MANHATTAN — A 33-year-old man was stabbed to death with a pair of scissors in his Harlem apartment Wednesday morning, police said.

The victim, whose name DNAinfo.com New York is withholding, was found with stab wounds to his neck and hands in his 15th-floor apartment at the Drew-Hamilton Houses at 200 W. 143rd St. just before 6:30 a.m., police said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cops said the victim may have had an argument before the stabbing. They were looking for a man who may have lived in the apartment.

The scissors believed to be used in the stabbing were recovered in the apartment.

The name of the victim will not be released until cops notify his relatives about the stabbing.

The victim had 22 prior arrests, a police source said. He was scheduled to appear in Bronx Criminal Court later this month and in July for two arrests in 2012, records show.
