BROWNSVILLE — Police executed a search warrant at a Brooklyn residence Friday afternoon and wound up with four arrests.

At 2:45 p.m., police officers in Brownsville searched a home at 28 Tapscott St. Police said they uncovered approximately 125 pounds of marijuana, as well as a 9mm handgun with several rounds of ammunition at the address.

According to the NY Daily News, the warrant came after a Thursday night shooting in the same building, in which a man named Franze Williams, who was later arrested, took a bullet in the stomach.

The NYPD could not verify that this had occurred prior to the drug bust, or that it led to the search warrant that was later issued.

According to the News, the shooter had not been found by police.
