INWOOD — A badly decomposed body was pulled from the Harlem River Monday evening, authorities said.

Few details are known about the person who was found floating in the water near Dyckman Street in the Sherman Creek section of Inwood on May 14, according to a police source.

The body was pulled from the water just after 8 p.m., according to the FDNY. 

The medical examiner will determine a cause of death, and an investigation is ongoing, police said.
