BROOKLYN — An out-of -control car careened into a pair vehicles parked on a Crown Heights street Monday morning, sending a man to the hospital, authorities and witnesses said.

The Mitsubishi Galant plowed into a black Infinity parked outside 774 Franklin Ave. near St. John’s Place about 7 a.m., before hopping the curb and crashing into a parking meter, witnesses said.

The smashup also forced the Infinity to collide with a BMW SUV, though both vehicles were unoccupied at the time, said a witness who watched the incident unfold.

One man who appeared to be the driver was taken to Kings County Hospital, but he was up and walking after the incident, witnesses and officials said.

It was not immediately clear what caused the car to become out of control.
