BRONX — Firefighters were battling a blaze in a Cedar Avenue building in Morris Heights Monday, officials said.
The fire broke out just before noon in a third-floor apartment at 2101 Cedar Ave., an FDNY spokesman said.
About 60 firefighters were still fighting the blaze at the six-story building about a half hour after it started, he added.
There were no reported injuries.
