BROWNSVILLE — A woman died after being discovered with head trauma in a Hegeman Avenue building late Friday night, police said.
Cops responded to a report of an unconscious female inside a four-story apartment building at 660 Hegeman Ave., near Miller Avenue, just after 10 p.m., according to cops.
When they got there, they found a 30-year-old woman who was unconscious and unresponsive.
She was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police have declined to release the identity of the woman pending family notification. No arrests have been made.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, police said.
