SOHO — A fire broke out in the basement of a six-story building on Grand Street Friday evening, FDNY officials said.
The blaze started just after 6 p.m. at 136 Grand St. near Crosby Street, the FDNY said.
Roughly 60 firefighters responded to the fire, the FDNY said. There were no immediately reported injuries.
