MANHATTAN — Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade didn't let his dress shirt and tie stop him from shooting hoops with some stunned teens in SoHo recently.
Video posted online Tuesday shows the shooting guard playing ball at Vesuvio Playground on Thompson Street between Spring and Prince streets.
"This is not a commercial, people. This is real life. And they've got a real game going on, too. They might not let me play," Wade said to laughs from his entourage before stepping onto the court.
"Why is Dwyane Wade in SoHo?" an amazed young person can be heard asking on the video, which was found online by Animal New York.
Wade swung by the playground Sunday after the Heat beat the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, the New York Post reported.
