Memorial for 15-Year-Old Killed After Basketball Game

THE BRONX — Friends and loved ones created a memorial in Morrisania for the 15-year-old boy who was gunned down during a brawl after a basketball game.

Luke Williams, 15, was found shot to the neck on Freeman Street and Prospect Avenue just after midnight and later died at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

Sources said that he had just finished playing basketball with friends when he ran into another group.

A fight erupted and Williams was shot in the neck.

The memorial near of his home on Prospect Avenue contained flowers and dozens of candles.

Messages for the teen were scrawled all over the wall of the building.

"R.I.P. Luke We Love You," one said.
