QUEENS — A man driving a rental car was found gunned down Wednesday evening in Springfield Gardens, police said.
The 22-year-old victim was found in the driver's seat of the 2011 white Dodge Charger at Ring Place and 118th Avenue about 7:30 p.m. after cops responded to a call of shots being fired, police said.
The rental had smashed into a parked SUV, and the victim was discovered with a gunshot wound to the torso, cops said.
Paramedics rushed him to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.
Cops were waiting to notify the victim's family before making his identity public.
No one has been arrested, police said.
