MANHATTAN — The MTA is planning to shut down service along the 1, 2 and 3 subway lines overnight this week for track maintenance.

There will be no service on the 1 train from 34th Street-Penn Station to South Ferry as part of the authority's FASTRACK program, which closes stations overnight so workers can perform uninterrupted subway maintenance.

The stations between 34th Street-Penn Station and Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn on the 2 and 3 trains will be shut down as well, the MTA announced.

The work is scheduled to begin Monday night and end on Sun., April 15.

The MTA is offering alternate train routes along the affected subway lines.
