QUEENS — A man was shot to death in the doorway of an Astoria liquor store Saturday night, authorities said.

Shaka Ryan, 37, was discovered with gun shot wounds to the leg and torso at 24-04 34th Ave. at 7:15 p.m.

"I was inside and heard boom boom boom," said a worker Solomon Z Liquor Store.

The victim was rushed to Astoria General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Ryan has six prior arrests dating back to 1987, a police source said, for charges ranging from sex abuse to criminal possession of a controlled substance to manslaughter.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the gunplay and no arrests were made, police said.
