THE BRONX - A gasoline tanker overturned in the Bronx Saturday morning, leaking fuel and snarling traffic, authorities said.
The 12,000-gallon tanker toppled on the west-bound Bruckner Expressway near the Cross Bronx Expressway around 11:30 a.m.
There was no fire, but FDNY pumped foam on the truck and spillage to prevent explosion a spokesman said.
The company that owns the tanker was sending a second tanker to the scene Saturday afternoon to offload the gasoline.
