BROOKLYN — A 22-year-old mother of two was strangled to death in her Cypress HIlls home Friday, police said.
The victim was found unconscious and unresponsive in the bedroom of the 298 Arlington Ave. home by authorities called at 2:20 a.m. when the unnamed woman failed to pick up her children from school.
She was declared dead by paramedics.
"The family was on the street crying as I woke up," said Carlos Jones, 39, who lives across the street.
Police sources said she had trauma to her neck.
Now cops want to talk to the woman's boyfriend, who they describe as being in his 30s. No one is in custody, police said.
Neighbors said the couple often had fierce battles in public.
"She always kept to herself," Jones said.
"But they're fighting on the street sometimes and I saw him punching her."
