MANHATTAN — A 23-year-old man was shot in his right thigh in East Harlem Friday afternoon, NYPD officials said.

The violence erupted just after 4 p.m. on Second Avenue near East 100th Street. The unidentified man was taken to New York Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, FDNY officials said.

Police were investigating the incident. No arrests had yet been made, cops said.
