MIDTOWN — Police arrested a man earlier this month at a Midtown ATM, where he was allegedly using several forged credit cards — from his stash of 28 — to extract hundreds of dollars, according to a criminal complaint.

Florian Martin, 35, was arrested on March 3 at an ATM on East 42nd Street between Second and Third avenues. Martin is now facing felony charges on 28 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.

On the morning of the arrest, Sergeant Jose Brizuela and Police Officer Fernando Cazares of the 17th Precinct were patrolling portions of Midtown when they spotted Martin hovering over an ATM, wearing a hat, sunglasses and a hooded shirt pulled down over his head, said Deputy Inspector John Hart at the 17th Precinct’s community council meeting this week.
