BROOKLYN — A 25-year-old man skateboarding along Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights was struck by two vehicles and killed early Wednesday, apparent victim of a hit-and-run, police said.

The skateboarder was riding along the pedestrian walkway of Eastern Parkway, near Rochester Avenue, about 8 a.m., police said. That's when a Mercury minivan, believed to be red or burgundy, was trying to beat a red light on Rochester Avenue, police said.

When the minivan turned onto Eastern Parkway, he plowed into the man, police said. Critically injured on the street, the victim was then mowed down by a white Honda or Acura sedan, they said.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital, police said, where he died from serious head trauma and internal injuries.

Police were trying to track down the drivers of the vehicles involved. No arrests have yet been made.

Cops were waiting to notify the victim's family before release his name.
