Police Hunting Suspect Who Shot Man Multiple Times on Harlem Street

MANHATTAN — Police are hunting a suspect who was caught on tape shooting a man multiple times on a Harlem street last week.

The gunman approached the victim outside the New Way Food Market at 1902 Seventh Ave., near West 115th Street, about 10 p.m. on March 19 and opened fire, hitting the man several times, the NYPD said.

The victim survived the shooting, police noted.

The suspect is described as 20 to 25 years old, standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, weighing 150 pounds, with a dark complexion, thin build, black hair and wearing a dark jacket, white T-shirt, dark jeans and white sneakers, police said.
