BROOKLYN — A large fire broke out at a Bensonhurst furniture store Monday morning, injuring an elderly woman and a pair of firefighters, authorities said.

The blaze began at 8:43 a.m. at Shun Jing Furniture, located at 6507 18th Ave. near 65th Street, the FDNY said.

An 84-year-old woman and two firefighters suffered minor injuries in the fire, which was brought under control about 9:40 a.m., fire officials said.

All were taken to Maimonides Medical Center for treatment.

A bank teller working at a Chase branch next door to the furniture store said he smelled smoke before being forced to evacuate the bank.

“When we came out, we saw the fire coming out like crazy from the doors,” said Karim Elganady, 29. “People were calm and the fire department got here really fast.”

A total of 25 FDNY units and 106 firefighters battled the blaze, the FDNY said.
