QUEENS — A man was shot to death Sunday in an Astoria housing project, police said.
The bloodshed unfolded just after 1 p.m. at 4-03 Astoria Blvd., near 8th Street — the Astoria Houses.
According to police, rescuers found a 23-year-old man shot to the head in the doorway of the building.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
