Four Knifepoint Robberies in Chelsea, Greenwich Village, Lower East Side

Four men were robbed of their money and cell phones by a knife-wielding mugger in Lower Manhattan, police said.

The early morning robberies began on Feb. 25 at West 26th Street and Broadway in Chelsea, according to police.

The robber struck twice on the morning of March 13, first at Seventh Avenue and West 12th Street in Greenwich Village and then at East 14th Street and First Avenue on the Lower East Side, cops said.

His most recent attack was just before on St. Patrick's Day when he robbed a 36-year-old man on the southbound F train platform at West 23rd Street and Sixth Avenue.

The robber was caught on video strolling through the turnstile with a scarf covering most of his head.
