MANHATTAN — The 251st St. Patrick's Day Parade flooded the streets with green-garbed celebrants Saturday as thousands marched in the annual event.
The parade began at Fifth Avenue and 44th Street and will head north along Fifth Avenue, ending at 86th Street about 5 p.m.
Visitors are encouraged to view the parade by heading north of 66th Street to avoid the crowds packing the sidewalks along Fifth Avenue.
