DOWNTOWN — Hundreds of demonstrators flooded into Zuccotti Park Saturday to mark the six-month anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

About 300 people, many gathered in a circle in the middle of the park, massed at the site of the protest’s former encampment as police monitored the action from the park's perimeter.

Officers could be seen hauling away demonstrators in handcuffs, though the NYPD could not immediately say whether any arrests had been made.

“Today is the six-month anniversary of the Occupy movement,” said Yoni Miller, the self-proclaimed “president” of OWS.

“It’s the start of the American spring, just like the Arab spring. We’re hoping to propagate more actions.”
