MANHATTAN — Better catch up on your sleep now — it's time to spring ahead.

Daylight saving time returns on Sunday at 2 a.m., when New Yorkers will have to set their clocks ahead by an hour.

While the change will mean New Yorkers lose an hour's sleep, it will mean an extra hour of sun in the morning.

The FDNY reminded New Yorkers to change their clocks and check their smoke and carbon monoxide detector batteries.
