QUEENS — A fire broke out in an Elmhurst home early Thursday, fire officials said.
The blaze started at roughly 5:30 a.m. inside of the house at 42-33 77th Street, the FDNY said.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, which started in a second-floor room in the back of the house, about 30 minutes later, fire officials said.
It was unclear if anyone was home at the time, but there were no reported injuries, officials said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
