BRONX — A High Bridge man was charged with stabbing his girlfriend to death in their apartment last month, police said.
Jose Victorio, 57, surrendered to police in Elizabeth, NJ, on Saturday for the alleged Feb. 26 incident, in which Ana Fernandez, 55, was stabbed to the neck.
Rescuers found her body that day after responding to a 911 call about an unconscious woman at 1130 Anderson Ave., near West 167th Street at 9:10 p.m.
Sources said that the victim was stabbed to death during a family dispute.
Victorio was charged with murder and weapons possession, according to cops.
