Three Hurt in Harlem High-Rise Fire

HARLEM — A fire in a Harlem high-rise early Wednesday left three people hurt, including two firefighters.

The fire started about 3:45 a.m. in a sixth-floor apartment at 3333 Broadway, near W. 135th St., FDNY officials said.

Firefighters had the blaze, which was contained to Apt. 6F, under control at 4:21 a.m., officials said.

Two firefighters were taken to St. Luke's Hospital with minor injuries. Another person was transported to New York Presbyterian Hospital, also with injuries that didn't appear to be life-threatening, officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
