BROOKLYN — Two children were struck by a vehicle in Williamsburg Tuesday morning, fire officials said.

The victims were hit by an unknown vehicle at the intersection of Division Ave. and Havemeyer St. about 8:40 a.m., fire officials said.

A police officer at the scene said the children dashed out from between two cars.

The FDNY did not transport the victims to hospitals, but it was unclear if a private ambulatory service moved the children. Sources said Hatzolah transported the children to a local hospital.

Hatzolah of Williamsburg could not immediately be reached for comment.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, a police source said.

The conditions of the children were not immediately known, though the source said their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
