MANHATTAN — A woman became dizzy at Grand Central Terminal Thursday morning and fell on the tracks, officials said.

The victim, who is in her 30s but was not identified, apparently became light-headed after getting off the 8:34 a.m. Hartsdale train, which arrived on Track 28 two minutes early, an MTA official said.

She fell between the train and the bumper block at the station.

"She had just gotten off the train, became dizzy, and fell to the tracks," said Aaron Donovan, a spokesman for the MTA.

The woman's condition was not immediately clear. Donovan said she was taken to a hospital.

Transit officials turned off the third rail, Donovan said. It was turned back on at 9:01 a.m., he said.

There were no service delays.
