BRONX — The young man who was shot to death in a Morrisania housing project early Saturday morning has been identified, police said.
Elijah Green, 23, was discovered shot to the head in a 14th floor stairwell at 730 E. 163rd St. in the McKinley Houses on Saturday at 5 a.m.
Green, who lived in the complex, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the bloodshed.
