Vice President Joe Biden fumbled his lines as he yelled to a crowd of cheering San Francisco 49ers fans, "The Giants are on their way to the Super Bowl."
The stunned Niners fans, gathered at a San Francisco fundraiser Wednesday, gave him "good natured" boos, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Quickly realizing his mistake, he said he was thinking of the San Francisco Giants baseball team.
Big Blue will square off against San Francisco on Sunday on the NF Championship game.
