HARLEM — Police are looking for three men who allegedly stole tools from Columbia University's Manhattanville construction site.

The men broke into a trailer at 628 W. 131 St. on Sunday about 12:30 p.m., swiping the tools before fleeing in a gray van, police said.

The site — which Columbia lists on its website as the location of abatement work — is part of the university's $6.3 billion expansion into 17 acres of land between West 129th and West 133rd streets.

Columbia did not immediately respond to an email request for comment.
