MANHATTAN — A fire broke out in an East Village building on Friday afternoon that houses an online radio station, officials said.

Sources said that the blaze broke out at 2:11 p.m. at 21 First Ave., near East 1st Street and sent smoke pouring into the building.

East Village Radio, which has a studio on the first floor of the building, lost power, but did not sustain any damage.

"They cut power," said general manager Peter Ferraro.  The station temporarily moved into another studio in the adjoining building.

Lil' Frankie's, a pizzeria next door, also did not sustain any damage, according to a waiter who answered the phone.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
