MANHATTAN — A man was killed after jumping onto the C train tracks at 155th Street in Harlem Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The man leapt onto the tracks as on oncoming C train arrived at the 155th Street Station, at St. Nicholas Avenue, shortly after 2:20 p.m. Monday, police and fire officials said.

The man's name and age were not released, and no criminality is suspected, police said.

An MTA spokesman did not immediately return calls for comment.

The incident led to delays on the Downtown C train, as trains ran express from 168th to 125th Street, according to the transit agency's Twitter feed.

"Downtown #C via express b/t 168th St & 125th St due to NYPD investigation of a customer injury at 155th St," NYCTSubwayScoop wrote on Twitter.
