MANHATTAN — A fire tore through a commercial building at 1181 Broadway, at West 28th  Street, Monday evening, fire officials said.

More than 106 firefighters from 25 units responded to the two-alarm blaze at 5:51 p.m., FDNY officials said.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. It was unclear where the fire started in the 11-story building, according to the FDNY.

The stately 1896 structure, known as the Baudouine Building, has a small Greco-Roman temple on its rooftop, which a former Landmarks Preservation Commissioner called ''a little Parnassus in the sky."

Fire officials said nobody was hurt in a two-alarm fire that broke out during the evening rush on Nov. 21, 2011.
