MANHATTAN — A homeless man was arrested after he came unglued at a Lower Manhattan McDonald's near Zuccotti Park when he was refused free food, police sources said.

Fisika Bezabeh, 28, walked into the McDonald's 160 Broadway, around the corner from the Occupy Wall Street encampment, at 2:40 a.m. Friday, and demanded free food and drink, sources said.

The New York Post reported that the suspect is a protester, but that could not immediately be confirmed.

When he was refused the food, Bezabeh allegedly picked up a credit card machine and tossed it at the ground, breaking it.

He was charged with criminal mischief, police said.

The dustup comes just weeks after a cook at the Greenwich Village McDonald's was caught on tape beating two women with a rod after they hopped over the counter.

McDonald's did not immediately respond to an email request for comment.
