HARLEM — Police are looking for a man who allegedly shot a woman in the hand in Harlem on Aug. 25.

Edwy Medrano, 22, allegedly approached the 21-year-old woman in front of 1430 Amsterdam Ave. and shot her once in the left hand, police said. She was taken to St. Luke's Hospital where she was treated and released.

Edwy is described 5 feet 9 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes.
