DOWNTOWN — Police are looking for a 72-year-old man who went missing near the World Financial Center before he was scheduled to take a cruise.
John Stapleton, from Ottawa, Canada, was last seen on Oct. 16 at 11:00 a.m. He was scheduled to take a cruise leaving from Pier 80 off 42nd Street at 4:00 p.m.
Stapleton is 5-foot-9 and 130 pounds. He has a white beard and mustache and was last seen wearing gray pants, brown shoes and a light brown jacket.
