MANHATTAN — A drunk driver blew through a red light and plowed into a taxi cab in Harlem early Saturday morning in an accident that left three people hospitalized, authorities said.

Artisha Shivers, 26, of upstate Ossining, was traveling west on 125th Street around 4:40 a.m. in a 2010 Mazda when she blew through a steady red light at Frederick Douglass Boulevard, sources said.

She then careened into a yellow cab that was going south on Frederick Douglass, demolishing the driver's side of the car.

The 43-year-old cabbie was rushed to Harlem Hospital and listed in stable condition.

Shivers and a 26-year-old male passenger were taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where they were also listed in stable condition.

Shivers was later charged with DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Her passenger, whose name was not released, was given a summons for unlawful possession of marijuana.
