MANHATTAN — An Upper West Side man was arrested for hitting and killing a Queens man on the Grand Central Parkway last week and then fleeing the scene, authorities said.

Luis Narvaez, 61, of West 109th Street, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in a death and tampering with evidence in the Sept. 15 incident.

According to cops, there was an accident involving a Mitsubishi Galant and another car on the parkway near 82nd Street in East Elmhurst just before 5 a.m.

When the driver of the Mitsubishi, Jerry Kishun, 64, got out to inspect the damage, he was allegedly struck by a third car driven by Narvaez.

Police said the suspect fled the scene.

Navarez was arrested two days later.
