MIDTOWN — New Yorkers will be ringing in 2012 with their favorite "Fame Monster."
Pop superstar Lady Gaga will perform on her home turf for the annual Times Square New Year's Eve party.
ABC said Thursday that the singer is confirmed as a musical guest for "Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012."
It’ll be the first time Gaga has been featured on the event, which usually attracts tens of thousands of revelers at the Crossroads of the World.
No other musical guests have been announced.
