MANHATTAN — An Upper East Side man was fatally shot outside a public housing apartment building in Harlem Monday night, police said.
Jamik White, 39, from East 92nd Street, was found outside 271 W. 114th St., between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, at about 11 p.m. He was shot in the neck, according to the NYPD.
He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the department said.
The incident took place down the block from Wadleigh Secondary School for the Performing Arts.
