MANHATTAN — Actor Alec Baldwin may soon be a SoHo resident, and it's all in the name of love, according to a recent report.

Baldwin's 3,000-square foot co-op in the El Dorado building at 300 Central Park West is scheduled to go on the market on Tuesday for $9.5 million, the New York Post reported. Sources told the paper that Baldwin, 53, is focusing his search for a new apartment on SoHo.

The 30-Rock star and potential mayoral hopeful recently told the Post that his yoga instructor girlfriend Hilaria Thomas, 28, dislikes the commute to his swanky pad and prefers to be downtown.

She works at Yoga Vida NYC at 99 University Place.

A move to SoHo would put Baldwin, who is scheduled to host the "Saturday Night Live" season premiere on Sept. 24, closer to one of his favorite spots. The actor recently recommended via Twitter the Union Square raw vegan restaurant Pure Food & Wine.

He told food blog Immaculate Infatuation that East Village sushi spot Kanoyama is another of his favorites.
