Inwood Fire Hurts Six, Including Three Firefighters

INWOOD —A blaze in an Inwood building left six people, including three firefighters, in the hospital Monday night.

An FDNY spokesman said three people were taken from the same apartment, on the sixth floor of 3716 10th Ave., at 201st Street, at 10:47 p.m.

All three were taken to Harlem hospital, where one was still considered in serious condition on Tuesday.

The three firefighters were treated for minor injuries.

The fire was out by 11:35 p.m., the FDNY said.

The cause of the fire was being investigated Tuesday.
