MANHATTAN — Beloved burger joint Corner Bistro reportedly plans to open a new location in Long Island City.

LIC blog Liqcity first noted the proposal for a new Corner Bistro on the agenda for an August 3 community board meeting earlier this week, Grub Street reported.

Bistro manager and partner Harold Wedick confirmed that the Jane Street tavern — the “last of the bohemian bars in West Greenwich Village,” famous for its juicy burgers and $2.50 McSorley’s drafts — would be opening a Queens outpost at 47-18 Vernon Boulevard, Grub Street added.

The new location, expected to open in the next three or four months, will reportedly feature a back patio.

The Corner Bistro, on the corner of West 4th and Jane Streets, is reportedly opening a Long Island City outpost.
