MANHATTAN — Troubled Singer Amy Winehouse, who battled substance abuse problems during her roller coaster career, was found dead at her London home at the age of 27, according to reports.

The "Rehab" songstress, who lit up the charts with her soulful voice, was discovered in an apartment in Camden Square, North London around 11 a.m. local time, according to Reuters.

The cause of death was unexplained, the report said.

According to CNN, the singer had just left a rehab program that she entered ahead of a series of concerts scheduled in Europe.

She had cut the tour short in Serbia last month after fumbling several songs.
