MANHATTAN — A brute tried to rape a woman near Penn Station early Friday morning, but the brave victim managed to fight off her attacker, police said.
The 25-year-old woman was approached by the 6-foot-5, 300 pound suspect on Eighth Avenue and West 36th Street around 2:30 a.m.
Police said that the thug tried to engage the victim in conversation before grabbing her arm and tossing her to the ground.
Then he allegedly sat on top of her and tried to rape her.
But the woman managed to fight the man off and fled into the safety of a taxi.
The bald suspect was last seen wearing an orange shirt, orange pants and white shoes.
